"Working remotely is hard," says Bara, an early Bitcoin-rich programmer. "I work really hard at getting the right light, angle, and focus, sometimes I need to take 100 pictures of my works space configuration to get the right feel for my followers, you know". Bara wants his followers to feel like they are working right next to him. When asked about how this helps him with his programming job, he didn't really know how to respond.
A study found a decrease in work productivity due to selfies and photos at workplaces across America. The survey across America (n = 5) conclusively found there was a 68% decrease in work-related memos, faxes, and xeroxing after selfies had taken place. Obviously, if you are a manager, create a policy against selfies for your remote workforce today. Simple.
